BCCI paid Rs 250 crore tax

Keeping its reputation of being India's richest sporting body intact, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has paid taxes to the tune of Rs 250 crore for the last financial year, association vice-president Rajiv Shukla informed the reporters on Saturday.

“The BCCI has paid taxes amounting to Rs 250 crore. BCCI is the only sporting organisation that has paid such a huge amount of tax,” Shukla told the mediapersons after his meeting with the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association officials.
