Former India left-arm spinner Sunil Joshi has been recruited by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) as the team’s spin bowling consultant for the Test series against Australia beginning this Sunday. Joshi will be flying out to Dhaka in a day or two to join the side.

Confirming the development, Joshi said he was looking forward to the new assignment. “I am just going to Bangladesh for two Test matches. I will be helping them out with the spin department,” said Joshi, who played 15 Tests and 69 ODIs for India.

It would be an interesting battle of wits between two Indians as Australia has already taken in another India left-armer S. Sriram to aid its spinners
