Olympic leaders have reallocated two individual medals stripped from Marion Jones but withheld the 100-metre gold from disgraced Greek sprinter Katerina Thanou.
The International Olympic Committee executive board acted on medals taken from Jones for doping at the 2000 Sydney Games.
The IOC awarded Jones’ gold in the 200 metres and bronze in the long jump to the next place finishers. But the board denied Thanou the 100 gold because she was involved in a drug scandal at the 2004 Athens Games.
Thanou never tested positive but was accused of evading tests and faking a motorcycle crash as a cover-up.
Pauline Davis-Thompson of the Bahamas goes from silver to gold in the 200. Russia’s Tatyana Kotova moves from fourth to bronze in the long jump.
