: Abhishek Gupta’s century (105) went in vain as St. John’s School, Villivakkam beat Sindhi Model School by six wickets in the fifth Bhooma Teacher Memorial trophy here.

The scores : Sindhi Model School 186 for nine in 30 overs (Abhishek Gupta 105) lost to St. John’s school, Villivakkam 189 for four in 25.2 overs (R. Sushane Kumar 56, S. Kishan Kumar 73 n.o.).

Easy for Don Bosco MHSS ‘B’ (Egmore)

Don Bosco MHSS ‘B’ (Egmore) registered an eight-wicket victory over Nellai Nadar HSS in the Friends inter-school tournament here.
