An app that helps you optimise your phone’s battery

There are days when your iPhone will work all day without draining the battery much, and on other days, you will run out of juice after minimal usage. This leaves you wondering about the biggest reasons behind your battery drain.

Normal Battery Analytics app helps you understand just that. It is a diagnostic app that uses your phone’s general information and compares it with thousands of other iPhone users to help you find out which apps should be killed and which should be deleted to help you battery’s life.

The theme of the app is simple in black, white, and orange. It is very clean and extremely easy to read. Its Actions tab shows all the active and inactive apps on your phone that will drain your battery. For example, HipChat does not hog the battery on Normal, but it can be seen from information gathered from all the devices running Normal that the app is active about, on an average, 23 percent of the time.

The app collects a lot of generic usage data on the service, like what apps are running, the model of your device, and the level of battery. It then sends this information to the Normal cloud programme, where it is analyzed, along with data from all other users. This analysis is then sent to you in simple and clear ways with the help of graphs and values are given in percentage to help you decide the best way of keeping your battery from draining. You can increase the life of the battery of your phone by simply following the instructions.

Once you install the app to know what is to be done next. The app will immediately tell you the active and non – active apps that take up space in your device. You can tap on an item and read more about it and find out the best way to take care of the battery drain problem.

The data view can be customized to get a more personalized experience. For example, Facebook Messenger takes up a lot of battery life, and if you still want to keep it, you can select “Stop showing this app” and it will be moved to a “Hidden” list where it can be accessed whenever you want to, but it will not be shown on your main Actions page.

Every app has a small graph that will show your battery’s present charge in grey, the small part of your battery that is being drained by usage, and a black line shows the degree of uncertainty. A shorter line means the information is being relayed with more certainty.

The app is quite useful for anyone who wishes to know which apps hog battery life, and want to delete or kill it to increase your battery life. This app just reminds you and does not kill apps magically.
