‘Blade Runner’ Oscar Pistorius charged with killing his girlfriend; Lance Armstrong stripped of his Tour de France titles on charges of serial doping; Tiger Woods caught in a sex scandal … All so-called role models who were, in fact, camouflaged by corporate houses to sell their goods.

It is time to project real sports heroes like Teófilo Stevenson, Cuban amateur boxer who won three Olympic gold medals. He had the courage to reject the offer of $5 million by American promoters to turn a professional boxer and fight Mohammed Ali.
