The killing of terrorists with either an Islamic State link or under the ‘heavy influence of the IS’ is a victory for intelligence forces in the country (March 9). As much as the police and the government must have heaved a sigh of relief, the fact that the terrorists were holed up in a busy locality and were armed should jolt the government into action and make it realise that it cannot rest on its laurels.
In the end, the political tussle over communalising terror reflects the sad state of our politics at a time when the entire world stands united in crushing terror.
