Strange are the ways of our politicians. Seeing S.M. Krishna switch over to the Bharatiya Janata Party after being a veteran Congressman for decades, I wonder about our politicians’ commitment to the ideologies they profess to follow (“After months of suspense, Krishna finally joins BJP”, March 24). The ideology of the BJP is diametrically opposite to that of the Congress. That Mr. Krishna suddenly went to the party which is anathema to the Congress is hard to digest.
