Stamping his supremacy

December 04, 2017 12:04 am | Updated 12:04 am IST

“Comparisons are odious”, but one cannot help but compare Virat Kohli to West Indian great Viv Richards. Virat is the Richards of modern cricket and the batting maestro’s Test records stand testimony to this comparison. Kohli has been unmatched in all three versions of the game. It is just a matter of time before he becomes Tendulkar II.

K. Pradeep,

Congratulations to Virat Kohli on his becoming the eight cricketer to hit 50th international century in just nine years — 32 in ODIs and 18 in Tests. Even one century is great in cricket, a lucky game of hit and trial. Now that we have the T-20 format, the question is about when he will achieve the 100th international century.

Secunderabad
