This is with reference to the report, “ >Dutt can get parole next only in 2015: experts ” (March 23). The decision by the court is a lesson for those who, with their money and muscle power, are in the habit of twisting the law to meet their needs and requirements. It is time jurists and other constitutional experts rethink the issue of parole. Further, the time spent by convicts outside the jail should be counted and added to the actual period of incarceration.
