I wish to thank the Editor-in-Chief for making the Open Page a full page, enabling more readers to contribute. It shows The Hindu 's concern for the readers and the fact that it sees them as dynamic stakeholders, not just consumers.

Thanks to The Hindu for sparing a full page for readers' contributions. I have two suggestions: The Hindu should notify a topic every two months so that readers can send in their articles. It would be better to divide the page into two segments. One segment should be devoted to the notified topic and another to articles on general topics of interest. Please do not publish photographs as they do not add any value to the page, but take away valuable reader space.
