Fuel price hike

Another petrol price hike, and another slap in people's face. Petrol prices decide the prices of many other commodities. The government can actually control the prices of other essential commodities by regulating the price of petrol. All concerns of losses to oil companies are imaginary. These companies are run by the government. Their foremost concern should be public interest.

N. Sathyajith,

Durg

The government has been increasing the prices of petrol without sparing a thought for consumers. High inflation, coupled with skyrocketing food prices, has failed to come down. The additional burden of rise in fuel prices is becoming unbearable for the public. The government needs to do some rethink on the deregulation of petrol prices. People in power must run the country responsibly, not casually.

Kumar Varun,
