Drone strike

The reported >killing of Hakimullah Mehsud , head of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, in a U.S. drone strike, has made headlines in all leading newspapers. However, it would be too early to jump to any conclusion in the matter, considering some similar instances in the past. Let us keep our fingers crossed.

The U.S. cannot blatantly eliminate people on its terrorist list through drone attacks. Its acts violate the basic right of people to a fair trial. The international community’s silence is disturbing.
