Arrogance indeed

July 26, 2013 01:15 am | Updated 01:15 am IST

That the political parties led by the government did not care to either follow the Central Information Commission’s order to appoint Public Information Officers and respond to RTI queries or ask for a stay is indeed reflective of crass arrogance (“ >A case against supreme immunity ,” July 25).

Equally shocking is the attitude of the Supreme Court PIO. I am reminded of what Douglas Bader said: “Rules are for the obedience of fools and guidance of wise men”.
