Opera versus Einstein, November 23, 2011 [Operavum Einsteinum ]. Translated and presented by T. Ramakrishnan

I totally understand and appreciate the efforts for providing a Tamil podcast of an editorial section, that too for a Top-notch daily newspaper. An idea to be welcomed totally. On a friendly note, I wish to share my observations. Having read the English text version of this above editorial and also after repeated hearing of this Tamil audio translation, I recommend
1. Using completely Tamil equivalent words without any usage of English words even for a Science article is great but some compromises are necessary considering the reader's understanding. 2. Try to re-frame sentence formation in Tamil once you have translated the words from English. Putting them in the same order as in English makes us difficult to understand the content itself. 3. Considering the aim of the editorial i.e. enabling the reader/listener to think deep on a topic, try to use familiar Tamil colloquial words. 4.Try to translate the content than the words. Come what may PLEASE keep doing this.Best wishes

Please create more PODCAST in TAMIL on daily basis. It helps my parents (non-english readers) to understand happenings in better way, Thus THE HINDU can make better awareness on all TAMIL PEOPLE. Also please make podcast on Wiki-Leaks news. Thanks THE HINDU and continue your great effort in other regional languages too. Thanks a lot and expecting more of this kind. Thanks

I grasp the content faster when it is in tamil language. Thanks for the
tamil podacast. You joined the Club of BBC, Discovery, National
Geographic, and Cartoon network in which the content is given in
regional language.
