IN GOOD SPIRITS: Cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who has completed the second cycle of chemotherapy for a malignant lung tumour, has posted this photo from Boston, U.S., on his twitter page. Continuing his recovery from a rare germ cell cancer, he is expected to be back in action in the first week of May.
Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has completed the second cycle of chemotherapy, continuing his recovery from a rare germ cell cancer in Boston (United States).
“Second cycle has finished today. Had a bleomycin shot, feeling weak but I'm sure tomorrow will be a better day.
“My next scan is slated for 7th March,” the 30-year-old left-hander tweeted.
Earlier, Yuvraj was paid a visit by legendary former Indian leg-spinner Anil Kumble during the treatment process. — PTI
