Fadnavis announces ₹34,000 crore farm loan waiver

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on June 24, 2017 announced a scheme to provide ₹34,000-crore debt relief to farmers. Farm loans of up to ₹1.5 lakh each will be waived, Mr. Fadnavis said in Mumbai.
