1. >Telangana High Court demand hots up with 9 more judges' suspension

The crisis around the rising demands for a separate High Court for Telangana and the withdrawal of the appointment in Telangana of about 120 judicial officers belonging to Andhra Pradesh, appeared to worsen with the suspension of nine more judicial officers on Tuesday.

2. >Labour party leader Jeremy Corbyn loses confidence vote

The vote is non-binding and so far Corbyn has indicated he won’t step down as head of the main opposition party.

3. >2008 Malegaon blasts: Sadhvi Pragya’s bail plea rejected

A bail application of Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, main accused in the 2008 Malegaon blasts that killed eight and injured 101, has been rejected by a National Investigation Agency (NIA) court.

4. >Woman kills self over morphed FB image>

Upset over this, when her parents were away, she reportedly hung herself. Her uncle rescued her and she was rushed to the Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College Hospital in Salem where doctors declared her brought dead.

5. >English language may be dropped by EU after Brexit>

Regulations would have to be changed to retain the language, requiring a unanimous vote from the 27 remaining states.
