Members of the youth wing of the Republican Party of India (RPI) pelted stones at the office of the television channel Colors at Andheri here on Thursday.
They were demanding the expulsion of cartoonist Aseem Trivedi from the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 6.’
The police have booked a case against eight RPI activists.
“The channel had assured us that Aseem Trivedi would be thrown out of the show on Friday. We just wanted to let them know what could happen if they don’t throw him out. There will be more violence if they don’t keep their word,” an RPI activist told The Hindu .
