24 police personnel get President’s medal

Bangalore City Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) T. Suneel Kumar, Inspector-General of Police (Central Range) Amar Kumar Pandey and Commandant of Karnataka Armed Reserve Police –Mounted Company, Mysore, S.G. Mariba Shetty are among the five police officials, who will be conferred the President’s Police Medals for Distinguished Service on Saturday on the occasion of Republic Day.

A release here on Friday said 19 police officials will be conferred with Police Medals for Meritorious Service on the occasion. Deputy Inspector-General of Police (Recruitment and Training) B. Shivakumar and Deputy Commissioner (Bangalore South) H.S. Revanna are the other two officials who have been conferred the Presidents Police Medal Distinguished Service.

Those who have been conferred the medal are Deputy Inspectors-General of Police of General P. Harishekaran, S. Murugan and K.V. Sharat Chandra; Pulakeshinagar ACP Shivamurthy; Deputy Superintendents of Police B. Nurulla Shareef and H.R. Radhamani; Assistant Commandant of Karnataka State Reserve Police C.N. Appaiah; sub-inspectors of police H.P. Nanjundaiah, D. Venkataramanappa, D.M. Singadi and N. R. Srinivas Bhashyam; assistant sub-inspectors H.L.S. Balasubramanya and K. Jayakar; head constables Y. Chandrappa, B.K. Nanje Gowda, Subramanya, Siddegouda, B.M. Shambu and CHC Vilas H. Bhosale.
