The Telangana Congress MPs have decided to lodge a complaint with the party leadership about the style of functioning of Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy that is doing “more harm to the party than good.”
The MPs who discussed about the Telangana March at a meeting at the residence of former CWC member K. Keshava Rao felt there was no need for imposing restrictions on the rally as such a move would show the party in poor light.
They decided to address letters to party president Sonia Gandhi and other senior leaders explaining how the government created obstacles in the conduct of the Telangana March, after giving its go ahead for the event.
“The Chief Minister’s moves could not stop the March from being successful by creating hurdles. But the restrictions showed the Congress in a bad light,” an MP said.
The MPs would take to the leadership’s notice the refusal of Mr. Kiran Reddy to meet them and listen to their grievances, reflecting the fact that he was devoid of any leadership qualities.
