Dubai Emirates-Bangkok flight makes emergency landing in Hyderabad

An Emirates flight on its way from Dubai to Bangkok made an emergency landing at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here at 5.04 a.m. on Tuesday after one of its passengers suffered a cardiac arrest.

A doctor stationed at the Apollo clinic at the airport went aboard and examined the patient and declared him dead. The passenger was identified as Ali Ibrahim Parvwish Sangoor Al-Valooshi (19), a national of the United Arab Emirates. He was on his way to Bangkok along with his family members, police sources said.

The body has been shifted to the Apollo Clinic in the airport and the flight EK-374 left for Bangkok at 06.21 am.

Police are making arrangements to hand over the body after an autopsy.
