Ambulance services resume

The operation of mortuary vehicles at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital ​that reportedly remained affected for the last few days because of shortage in diesel has resumed.

Hospital sources said that nine ambulances ​were being operated from the hospital every day and one vehicle at Pollachi Government Hospital.

The sources ​said

that on Thursday, 30 of the 34 bodies were shifted to the residences from the hospital.

Probably the vehicles may be denied for one or two families due to the sudden absence of drivers, the sources said.
