The military says Israeli forces knocked down the family home of Nimr Jamal on Wednesday.

Jamal killed the three Israelis and critically wounded a fourth outside the West Bank settlement of Har Adar before he was shot dead. He came from the nearby village of Beit Surik and had worked for years in the settlement, where he was known as a conscientious worker who earned the trust of local residents.

The largest-ever D-flawless diamond to be put up for auction, mounted in a diamond and emerald necklace, sold for $33.7 million on Tuesday night, including buyer’s fees. The white, matchbox-size “Creation 1” diamond from Swiss jeweller de Grisogono weighs a whopping 163 carats.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday said 62% of registered voters who responded in a postal survey seeking their view on legalising homosexuality have backed legalising same-sex weddings.The conservative government promised to allow a bill creating marriage equality to be considered in Parliament in the final two-week session that is due to end on Dec. 7.
