As the Opposition flagged the edition of the RSS weekly `Organiser' that had shown large parts of Jammu & Kashmir as part of Pakistan in a map, the Government on Friday told the Rajya Sabha that this was not the view of the BJP or the Sangh.
After the use of the map showing Indianheld parts of J&K in Pakistan in the RSS mouthpiece was raked up by the media earlier this week, it was withdrawn from the online edition but print copies remain in circulation.
The issue was raised by Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad, who also mentioned the fact that the wrong map had since been withdrawn from the Organiser's online edition. However, he wanted to know what the Government's position was on the issue and how such a map was included in the magazine.
In response, Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said: ``J&K is an integral part of India. There is a Parliament resolution to this effect and we are all bound by it.'' Further, he added that what was depicted in the said map was not the view of the BJP, the RSS or the Government.
