Will try to make a difference in the civil aviation industry: Jayant Sinha

Jayant Sinha, who took charge at the Minister of State for Civil Aviation, said on Wednesday that he will look to make a difference for the “sunrise industry.”

“This is a sunrise industry and a vitally important part of our infrastructure. I am very much looking forward to work here under the leadership of (Civil Aviation Minister) Ashok Gajapati Raju and making a difference,” Mr. Sinha said here before entering the Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan building.

“I had a wonderful time in the Ministry of Finance under the leadership of Arun Jaitley and it is my privilege to be able to get an opportunity to work for the nation,” he added.

Mr. Sinha interacted with his senior minister and senior ministry officials, including civil aviation secretary RN Choubey. His predecessor Mahesh Sharma was also present at the meeting.
