A video of a Rajasthan BJP MLA purportedly using foul language with some women demanding a solution to water shortage has gone viral on social media.

Kishna Ram Nai, MLA from the Sri Dungargarh Assembly constituency in Bikaner district, allegedly used foul language against the women from Pratap Basti when they met him on Sunday.

Morphed, says BJP

The Congress has demanded the suspension of the MLA.

The BJP and the lawmaker, however, claimed that the video had been morphed and the MLA had resolved the water woes of the women.

Mr. Kishna Ram is three-time MLA and has held the district president post four times.

Dismisses charges

District president of the Congress’ rural wing, Shashikala Rathore, condemned the MLA’s conduct. She said the video was not morphed.

The MLA said he directed the Public Health Engineering Department officials to solve the problems of the women at the earliest and dismissed allegations of foul language.
