Two hideouts busted in J&K

Army troops have busted two hideouts in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition, defence officials said.

Troops of Rastriya Rifles launched a joint search and cordon operation in the forest belt of Aritel nallah in Gulabgarh valley of Reasi district last night and busted a hideout, they said.

The recoveries from the hideout included 13 detonators, 17 pistol rounds among other things.

Another hideout was busted by the troops in Magnar-Lanar in Reasi district, they said, adding the recoveries included one grenade, 31 rounds of .303 rifle, 30 rounds of 7.62 mm rifle and one detonator.
