The Army killed two members of Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT) along the Line of Control in Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday morning.

A Srinagar-based Army spokesman said that in an operation the Army killed two men from the BAT team and foiled their bid to enter the Kashmir Valley.

The Army’s 4 JAKLI noticed some suspicious movement at Khalana-G-nallah near Anil Post at Gulotha along the LoC around 8 a.m. on Friday. The post is opposite to Pakistan’s 31 Baloch regiment. The BAT, according to the Army, was planning an attack inside Indian territory.
