Two bogies of 2565 Saharsa-New Delhi Express caught fire at Chapra railway station on Sunday, but there were no casualties or injuries, a railway official said.

The bogies caught fire after a lit bidi or cigarette ignited the diesel that had leaked and spread to the bogies following refuelling of the engine at Chapra station, Assistant Engineer (Electrical) Ashok Kumar said.

The fire was brought under control immediately and the bogies were replaced.
