Roof and Floor and The Hindu are launching ‘The Great Indian Home Sale’ that will bring together real estate developers and home buyers. The festival will allow buyers to bid on the properties for sale.
The bidding process will open on November 29 and close on December 3. The sale will feature about 100 properties from 40 leading builders in Chennai and Bengaluru. Users can place up to three bids on a property for a fee of ₹999 and tax. The bids can be revised and the registration amount would be refunded if the bids are rejected. Home buyers have nearly 15 days after the sale to close the deal on the new property.
Rajiv Lochan, Managing Director and CEO of The Hindu Group, said this event would be a boost for the real estate industry and simplify the steps taken while purchasing a property.
