Workshop on mechanical engineering from Feb. 15

Department of Mechanical Engineering of Sree Chaitanya College of Engineering has decided to conduct a two-week workshop on ‘Advances in Materials and Manufacturing Process’ from February 15 to 24.

The objective of the workshop is to provide a common platform for industrialists, academicians, and research scholars to exchange their expertise and knowledge on the latest developments in the field of materials and manufacturing processes.

HoD of Mechanical Engineering and convenor of the workshop, G. Venkateshwarlu, said eminent personalities from defence organisations and academicians from NIT, IITs, Osmania and JNTU would participate. The topics to be covered during the workshop include recent developments in bio-materials, metal forming, welding, composite materials, nano materials, rapid photo typing, additive manufacturing, shape memory alloys etc. Interested candidates can call on 9032194173 for registrations and to get details about the workshop, according to a note here on Wednesday.
