Woman injured during CISF firing in Medak

A woman working in her agricultural fields was hit by a stray bullet fired by CISF personnel who were practising firing at their firing range near Chakriyal village in Pulkal mandal of Medak district on Thursday morning.

The injured woman, identified as Chandrakala (52) was rushed to a corporate hospital in Hyderabad for treatment, Circle Inspector Raghu said. The incident took place around 9.30 a.m. The woman was given some first aid in a local hospital and then rushed to Hyderabad.
