BJP’s Telangana State president and MLA G. Kishan Reddy on Thursday appealed to Minister for Railways Sadananda Gowda to take steps to see that cases booked against agitators who fought for Statehood were withdrawn..

In a letter to the Minister, he explained that several cases were registered against the agitators and said that at a time when they should be happy at achieving a separate State, the cases were robbing them of their peace of mind.

Mr. Reddy said that the Telangana government was pondering over the issue of withdrawing all cases booked against the agitators.
