Delhi-based Safal Bharat Foundation is planning to create a new Guinness World Record by forming the largest car image with 3,000 students.

The foundation representative P. Kishore said that the event will be held at St. Gabriel’s High School, Kazipet on August 5 with students drawn from different schools of the city.

The previous record for creation of a car image was with 1,665 individuals, which was performed in Chennai in 2016.

Mr. Kishore said that he had studied at St. Gabriel’s and wanted to organise the event in the school. Plans are also afoot to break two records every year by involving students, he said.

It was aimed at motivating the students to aim high and to stimulate their will power to create Guinness World Records on their own.

“There is a strong misconception that creating or breaking a Guinness World Record is impossible or very difficult and we want to prove that wrong. Creating or breaking a Guinness World Record gives the students a sense of achievement and it helps them achieve bigger things in their lives,” he explained.

The foundation was attempting to create a Guinness record with 10,000 students in New Delhi in January 2018 by illustrating a smiling face, he said.

Founder of Safal Bharat Foundation, Shyam Sunder Parupelli, who worked and retired as a Mandal Education Officer in the district, said that he floated the organisation along with his wife Sharada to bring out and promote skills among the students.

“Twenty-two per cent of the 130-crore population in the country comprises children and each one of them has got a talent of his/her own. We should try to help them showcase their talents,” he said.

The foundation has also been adopting students with special talent and assisting them financially.

Mr. Shyam Sunder and Mr. Kishore appealed to parents and the managements of schools in the city to ensure active participation of students in the feat.
