VROs given tablet PCs

Adilabad Collector Buddha Prakash M. Jyoti on Tuesday distributed tablet PCs among 159 Village Revenue Officers to be used for various purposes, including seeding of land details with Aadhaar numbers. The distribution came at an awareness programme conducted here.

By using the table PCs, the VROs can directly connect from respective villages to the State headquarters especially during times of natural calamity. They can upload details of land transactions on these hand-held computers. Joint Collector K. Krishna Reddy was present., District Information Officer G. Rakesh and tahsildars attended the awareness meeting.

At Mancherial, Collector R.V. Karnan also gave away tablet PCs to VROs.
