Former Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar has flayed the elected representative of TRS from the district for failing to get funds in the State Budget for the development of Karimnagar district.

In a press note here on Wednesday, he said that people have elected three MPs, 12 MLAs, ZP chairperson and several others for representative posts. But, the TRS leaders had failed to get any funds for the development of the district in spite of Minister for Finance Etala Rajender hailing from the district, he charged.

He said that there were no allocations in the budget for the SRSP flood flow canal, Mid Manair Dam, Satavahana University, Jagtial Agriculture College, Vemulawada, Dharmapuri and Kaleshwaram temple shrines etc. He demanded that the TRS leaders tell what they got for Karimnagar district in the State Budget.
