TRS, Congress candidates file nominations for by-poll

BJP announces NRI doctor as candidate. TRS candidate Pasunuri Dayakar came with MLAs T. Rajaiah and D. Vinay Bhaskar, and urban president N. Narender to file his nomination papers.

With only two days to go, candidates of Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) and the Congress and one supported by Left parties filed their nominations for the Warangal by-election here on Monday.

Congress candidate and former MP Sircilla Rajaiah, accompanied by DCC president N. Rajender Reddy, filed his nomination. He came in a rally from Congress Bhavan accompanied by senior leaders Ponnala Lakshmaiah and G.V. Ramana Reddy to the district Collectorate office and filed his nomination.

Gaali Vinod Kumar filed his nomination as an Independent candidate. He is being supported by CPI, CPI (M) and other Left parties. He came in a procession from Ekasila Park.

TRS candidate Pasunuri Dayakar came with MLAs T. Rajaiah and D. Vinay Bhaskar, and urban president N. Narender to file his nomination papers for the Parliament by-election.

One Sandra Johnson also filed her nomination as an Independent candidate. On October 29 and October 31, senior Congress leader Bochu Sammaiah and one Repika Prem Kumar filed their nominations respectively .

The BJP named NRI doctor P. Devaiah as its candidate and he is expected to file his nomination on Tuesday. The last date for filing nominations is November 4.
