The Central Crime Station (CCS) police arrested a three-member inter-district gang of thieves and seized property worth Rs. 21 lakh from their possession here on Monday.
Warangal Range Deputy Inspector General of Police B. Malla Reddy and Superintendent of Police A.K. Jha produced the accused before the media here. The DIG said the police recovered 40.21 gm of gold and 920 gm of silver ornaments, an Indica car, three motorcycles, several cellphones, tabs, cameras and televisions from their possession.
The accused were identified as M. Rama Rao of Nizampet in Hyderabad, A. Srinivas and B. Bharathi, both from Chalvai village in Warangal district.
