Three killed in accident as lorry rams car

Three persons were killed on the spot when a speeding lorry rammed a car on Warangal – Khammam Highway near Dubba tanda village in Thorrur during the wee hours of Saturday. Police said the lorry driver, Pesaramilly Peddaswami from Ragavapuram of Nandigam mandal in Krishna district, is absconding. The deceased were identified as Cherukumalli Mallikarjuna Rao (55), a resident of Chinna Munigala of Konijerla mandal in Khammam dist., Gadipudi Krishanaiah (48), a Singareni employee at Bhupalapally, and car driver Md. Anwar Pasha (45). All the three were returning to Bhupalapally after attending a marriage in Khammam when the lorry proceeding towards Khammam rammed them.
