The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) was conducted in a peaceful manner in the districts of Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial and Nirmal . A high percentage of attendance in all the four districts was the distinguishing factor about the exam. In Adilabad district, Joint Collector K. Krishna Reddy and other higher officials oversaw the test. They visited the Social Welfare Residential Junior College for boys and other centres in town.

At Mancherial, Collector R.V. Karnan inspected the proceedings at the Boys’ High School. He also reviewed arrangements at the strong room.

Staff Reporter adds: The TET held in the district on Sunday was peaceful. In Siddipet, 2,893 candidates attended of the total of 2,971candidates who had applied, in the morning session. In the afternoon, 5,277 candidates attended of the total of 5,424 candidates. In Sangareddy, in the morning session, 4,271 candidates attended the test while 7,374 candidates attended in the afternoon. In Medak district, a total of 2,732 candidates attended the test followed by 3,264 candidates in the evening.
