Telugu language celebration

As a prelude to the ensuing World Telugu Conference which will be held in Hyderabad from December 15 to 19, the Rajanna-Sircilla district officials conducted a preparatory Telugu mahasabhas from December 7 to 9 in Sircilla town. As part of the celebrations, the district authorities conducted various programmes including taking out rallies, conduct of essay writing and elocution competitions, cultural programmes etc. Participating in the celebrations, district grandhayala samstha chairman Akunuru Shankaraiah called upon all sections of the society to strive to protect the Telugu language for the benefit of future generations.
