Adilabad Superintendent of Police Tarun Joshi on Sunday inaugurated Mahila Police Station at Mancherial, located within the premises of the Assistant SP’s office. The police station will be manned by SI S. Suman besides, two women head constables, two women police constables and four constables.
Mr. Joshi said the opening of the police station was intended to give protection to women. The latter can now approach the police without fear through the Mahila police station, he added.
Bellampalli Additional SP, N. Prakash Reddy and Mancherial ASP S.M. Vijay Kumar were also present.
