Software engineer drowns in Kuntala

The first death due to drowning in the picturesque Kuntala waterfall in Adilabad district this year took place on Sunday when a 21-year-old software engineer, Inzamam-ul-Haq, lost his life. The deceased belongs to Surat in Gujarat but was staying in a rented premises in Vasantnagar of KPHB Colony, Hyderabad, where he was working in a company. According to police, Haq came to the picnic spot with 10 others. Of the four who entered the pool at the foot of the waterfall, three came out alive while he could not as he fell in a treacherous crevice in the rocky bed.
