Coalminers asked to stay away from Sept. 2 strike

The Singareni Collieries management has appealed to coalminers to stay away from the general strike of September 2 in order to stick to the schedule of production of coal. The management has issued a pamphlet in this regard for the attention of miners at Srirampur area from where coal will be fed to the nearing completion Singareni Thermal Power Plant in Jaipur mandal.

The pamphlet talks about the power production target of 1,200 MW next year. It also wanrs the miners of strikes being banned by the Singareni it will be illegal to participate in it.
