Rs. 48 crore for Hyderabad road repairs

The Union Government has sanctioned Rs. 48.2 crore for the repair of Hyderabad - Sangareddy road. This was the result of repeated efforts made by Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao. Whenever he had the opportunity to meet Union Surface Transport Minister Nithin Gadkari, he exp lained about the plight of the people using this road.

Mr. Harish Rao, in a release here on Thursday, said that Mr. Gadkari had also directed the engineer-in-chief to call for tenders to take up the repair works immediatey.

Mr. Harish Rao has also informed that Rs. 10.3 crore was sanctioned for Zaheerabad and Rs. 5.1 crore for Sadashivapet development works.
