In the wake of prevailing heat wave conditions and acute drinking water problem in the rural areas, the Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association (TRSMA) has urged the government to reopen schools on June 10 instead of June 1 as announced earlier.
Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association State general secretary Y. Shekhar Rao said the government had announced reopening of schools from June 1 in order to celebrate the Telangana Formation Day on June 2.
But, due to prevailing heat wave condition and drinking water problems, there will be poor turnout of students at the schools, he said and added that the students were also habituated to attending schools only after June 12. In the interest of the student community, Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association urged the government to reopen the institutions only on June 10.
