‘NCC volunteers make for a good citizen’

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) volunteers should focus on social initiatives like Swachh Bharat, plantation drives, and road safety, besides their career, said NCC Group Commander Colnel Rajneesh Kapoor.

He was inspecting the ongoing ten-day training programme organised by the10th Telangana Battallion along with the annual training camp on National Institute of Technology (NIT) campus here on Thursday. Mr. Kapoor inspected the training in drill, parade, map readying, firing and cultural events. He said NCC training makes makes one a good citizen and suitable for a career with the army. The 10th Telangana battalion commandant Sri Charan, camp Lt Mr. Sadanandam, Major Yashwanth, and field officer K. Prakasham were present.
