Mahajana Socialist Party (MSP) chief Manda Krishna Madiga has said his party workers would oppose the visits of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to Warangal district if he fails to set up a Health University.

Stating that Mr. Rao snubbed Deputy Chief Minister T Rajaiah because he was a Dalit, the MSP chief said that the Chief Minister was trying to dominate the Ministers without giving them freedom to function.

“The Chief Minister should honour the promise made by the Deputy Chief Minister of establishing Health University here in Warangal,” he said. Speaking to press persons here on Sunday Krishna Madiga stated that being a Health Minister Dr. Rajaiah has got every right to make statements with regard to future plans related to his department.

Interfering in the matter amounts to curbing the freedom of a Minister in initiating development works. On deputy chief minister Rajaiah dubbing the Chief Minister’s warning as an admonition by “a father to the son”, Krishna Madiga said “It is nothing but an attempt to protect his seat. We can understand the dilemma of Rajaiah but what the Chief Minister said in public is highly condemnable”.
