Mint gifts RO plant to Akshaya Patra

The India Mint handed over an RO plant to Akshaya Patra Foundation, which has been running a mega kitchen at Patancheru in Medak district, on Monday.

Mr. Ramulu. HR Manager, Mint, handed over the modern RO plant to Akshaya Patra Foundation representatives in the presence of local legislator G. Mahipal Reddy at a programme in Patancheru.

Akshaya Patra is the world’s largest mid-day meal program which is feeding around 14 lakh underprivileged children every single day in 21 locations in 10 States across the country in partnership with State and Central governments, according to Ravilochana Dasa, Akshaya Patra representative. Hyderabad chapter is currently feeding about 65,000 school children and 37,000 Anganwadi beneficiaries in 11 mandals spanning 456 Govt schools everyday as part of mid-day meal scheme.
